On Florida’s Marco Island, a stately waterfront manor house that was built for the late New York Yankees pitcher Bob Turley has hit the market for $16.5 million.
Dubbed the “Turley Mansion,” the Italian-inspired property was built for the baseball star in the 1980s—after his retirement from the MLB—and in the years since has become known as one of Marco Island’s most prestigious addresses, according to listing agency Premier Sotheby’s International Realty.
