Most people moving from Milwaukee to Naples think they’re trading one waterfront city for another.
They aren’t.
They’re looking for the version of Naples that feels familiar in all the right ways.
Here’s where I’d start:
1. Pelican Bay
If you love Whitefish Bay, Fox Point, or Shorewood.
Private beach clubs, miles of walking paths, tennis, wellness, and a true sense of community. One of the few places in Naples where the lifestyle matters just as much as the address.
2. Olde Naples
If you love the Historic Third Ward.
Walk to coffee. Walk to dinner. Walk to the beach.
Historic charm, beautiful homes, and a level of walkability that’s hard to find anywhere else in Southwest Florida.
3. Park Shore
If you love Milwaukee’s lakefront lifestyle but wish winter wasn’t part of the equation.
Beachfront high-rises, bayfront homes, boating, and Venetian Village right outside your door. For many Milwaukee buyers, Park Shore feels familiar in all the right ways.
4. Grey Oaks
If you love Elm Grove or Brookfield.
Private. Refined. Beautifully maintained.
Three golf courses, world-class amenities, and one of Naples’ most established luxury club communities.
5. Mediterra, Quail West, Talis Park, and Kensington
If you love Mequon or River Hills.
Larger homes, newer construction, golf, wellness amenities, and a little more breathing room. For many Milwaukee buyers, this is where luxury and everyday living come together.
The interesting thing?
Most Milwaukee buyers arrive thinking they know exactly where they want to live.
Then they tour Naples.
The lakefront buyer falls for golf.
The country club buyer falls for the beach.
The downtown buyer ends up wanting space.
